This artwork is about mass collaboration.

In the age of AI we are quickly moving towards a collective consciousness...

a creative collaboration between yourself and the entire output of humanity.

DIFFUSE CONTROL is an exploration of mass collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence, highlighting how our collective consciousness shapes creative expression. The artwork has three distinct levels of control between the artist, curator, and viewer.

FOR THE VIEWER

This artwork explores the idea of curation as creation. As such, curators play a crucial role by selecting different images to introduce new iterations of the work. The curators' choices become part of the artwork's ongoing transformation, reflecting both individual perspectives and collective artistic trends.

For the viewer the artwork offers an interactive experience where viewers become co-creators, taking control and transforming the piece in real time. Viewers are also invited to generate unique physical artifacts that are a reflection of their interaction with the artwork.

INFINITE ITERATIONS

The piece seeks to transcend the concept of a single, static AI-generated artwork by establishing a dynamic, generative system capable of producing an infinite array of evolving works. This system will continuously be shaped by future creations, allowing for an ever-changing artistic expression that remains responsive to new influences and innovation.

In an age where AI represents a creative collaboration between all humans we are confronted with technology that grants us unprecedented control over the artistic process while operating in ways that often elude full understanding. This duality reflects broader societal implications of this rapidly evolving technology and challenges us to reconsider our relationship with it.
